Making a Business of Technology

Torry Harris is committed to finding cost effective solutions for clients that help strengthen the client's bottom-line. This requires Torry Harris to be ahead of the technology curve, continuously looking for newer solutions that the client can benefit from. The technologies that Torry Harris focuses on have a strong demand across growing industries.

SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)

The SOA Business Unit in Torry Harris comprises specialists in the area with extensive web-services experience and domain knowledge. Apart from the several initiatives already active, Torry Harris combines this with service offerings in the 'Open Source' area.

SOA requires enhanced use of licenses and access to code-base, to modify applications for diverse use. Our approach offers alternatives to costly and rigid implementations by combining the strengths of SOA and 'Open Source' thus making us an ideal SOA offshore implementation partner.

OSS Initiative

Apart from the SOA initiative, a parallel initiative is to utilize Open Source implementation of products to provide cost-effective solutions for the customers.

The Open Source System products have come of age and there has been worldwide acceptance of these products by customers to implement their solutions.

Middleware

Torry Harris has been a key player in the Middleware domain since inception, offering services that establish communication links and patterns between diverse systems. This space remains one of our core focus areas, due to our extensive experience and industry expertise.

Expertise in technologies like WebSphere, Message Broker, WMQ, DCE/Encina, TIBCO, webMethods and several other front-runner technologies gives Torry Harris considerable advantage over competition. Some examples are:
