Understanding project requirements clearly and precisely.
Understanding high level and low level design documents, source to target mappings, interface specifications. Coding ETL objects (Graphs, Plan, Mapping) . Understanding and applying standards & guidelines followed across the team (ETL/DWH). Good analytical skills. Ability to debug and fix issues. Shell Scripting and UNIX experience. Good communication skills - written and verbal. (Ability to communicate through emails, documentation, reporting and face-to face discussions).
