Social Responsibilities
WeCare@thbs is the Torry Harris activity club committed towards making a difference to the world we live in.WeCare@thbs assisted Tsunami traumatized families, helping raise funds, besides providing them with food, water, gas stoves and medicines.
The Rakum School for the Blind at Bangalore is home to 175 underprivileged children, both sighted & visually impaired. WeCare members work to ensure these children have easy access to learning aids and a library. An administrative management system is being developed for the school.
The 'We Care Monthly Employee Contribution' plan aids in the purchase of books, sponsoring of education tours, medicines for child care centers etc.
Sikshana, is the initiative involving the joint adoption of Arehalli School along with the Sivasri Charitable Trust. WeCare is committed to the school's objectives in improving areas like General Knowledge, English etc.
WeCare's recent social initiative was that of a blood donation drive.
