WeCare Forum at Torry Harris Business Solutions

WeCare @ THBS is a unified workforce that has made great strides over the years from a non-descriptive existence to a philanthropic club serving not only people in need but also contributing towards mankind, wildlife & nature.

Some of the causes supported by WeCare @ THBS are:

  • Support to the VGKK tribal school in the foothills of BR Hills, from the distribution of free stationary items to the school to sponsoring the children selected for national level athletics. Additionally, the team also sponsors the education of physically challenged kids in the school.
  • Support to the Snehadeepa Trust & School that was started by three visually impaired individuals, who wanted to empower the lives of the visually disabled. The school provides basic education to the students including facilities like providing Braille books, e-texts and hostel facilities. They have recently begun ‘Mobility Training’ and ‘Computer Training’ programs for the students. WeCare sponsors groceries to the inmates of this blind school, which houses over a hundred visually impaired people. WeCare has been actively involved in imparting computer education and has also sponsored several tickets for musical shows and the likes for creating general awareness among the residents of this school.
  • Support to an Old Age Home and Orphanage by sponsoring their vocational training, so they could find means to earn a living. Provide them with the necessary equipment and enable the sale of items made by the residents.

WeCare has in the pipeline several other larger initiatives it plans to support such as the mid-day meal scheme for schools and sponsorship of several more deserving students. Such initiatives are supported by a corpus fund raised by the employees of THBS and contributed in equal by the management, to make these initiatives a success.
